The Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, California hosted this year's 25th BET Awards celebrating various International legends. We then got to the playground in Braamfontein, which transformed into a fashion extravaganza. Young designers, models, and makeup artists showcased their skills at this year's Braam Fashion Week. The month of June is a time of reflection and remembrance. It marks the anniversary of the 1976 Soweto Uprising. We sat down with the iconic musician, Sipho 'Hotstix' Mabuse as well as acclaimed Mthandazo Gatya, a powerful voice of today. In the world of Sport, we caught up with stories making headlines this week. And basking by the courtside, the Basketball Africa League was an unparalleled fusion of culture, craft, and the bold spirit of unity. We then wrapped up the show with a youth month performance in addition to some youth day and father's day voxies.

The first stop is by the RMB Latitudes Art fair as their 3rd edition took place. The fair offered visitors an incredible experience, bringing together art lovers from across different communities. Thereafter, we caught up with mountaineer and philanthropist Angela Yeung at City Rock in Jozi, to get a sense of the 'climb', after her recent victory of summiting Mount Everest for a good cause. We then touch base on the measures Meta is using to ensure safety for teenagers online, at the Meta teen account launch. We also took a detour to Sun City for the Ziyakhala Mo Festival. This inaugural festival is a huge celebration of traditional music, culture, fashion and many more. We touched base at The Credo Mutwa Cultural Village in Soweto showcases the sculptures and legacy of renowned late South African artist and traditional healer, Credo Mutwa. We then wrap up the show with some self-defence techniques, building character and establishing discipline, learning the beauty of Martial Arts, and Kickboxing.

We kickstart Africa Month with poet Zewande Bhengu with a powerful piece. All roads then lead to Mbombela for the 2025 Metro FM Music Awards. It's a celebration of community, culture, and the power to promote human rights with live performances, inspiring talks, and incredible moments that bring people together to stand for social justice and human rights. In studio we are joined by Mama Africa's granddaughter Zenzi Makeba-Lee, who's not only a songstress, but will also be part of her grandmother's tribute and documentary showcase right here in Braamfontein this Sunday.

We chat with award-winning Chef Candice Philip who recently walked away with the Best Chef of the Year Award, amongst the country's finest chefs, restaurants and hospitality innovators. We visit the Cotton Fest Exchange, a platform that seeks to support the creative community by giving them a space to connect and showcase their creative abilities with other like-minded creatives. Then we are serenaded with a musical rendition by songstress Deena G, who also chats about how music is an expression of her Human Rights.
